 Purple Yam Curry

Ingredients

  • Purple Yam
  • Salt
  • Tomatoes
  • Green chillies
  • Onions
  • Curry leaves
  • Pandan leaves
  • Chilli powder
  • Curry powder 
  • Turmeric powder
  • Youghurt
  • Coconut milk
  • Oil
Steps
  1. First wash the yams and cut in to pieces.
  2. Next put water in to a pot and add the yam pieces and put it in the stove.
  3. Then boil the tomatoes.
  4. Cut the big onions , green chillies and ready the pandan and curry leaves.
  5. When the yams are boiled add some salt.
  6. After they boiled filted the yams.
  7. Put oil in to a pan andd fry the boiled purple yams.
  8. Again put oil in to a another pan and fry onions, chillies, curry leaves and pandan leaves.
  9. Add curry powder , chilli powder, turmetic powder and youghurt in to it and tempered.
  10. Add the boiled tomatoes also in to this mixture.
  11. Next add the fried purple yams and add some salt.
  12. Then add the coconut milk also.
  13. When the coconut milk is done remove the pot from the stove.
  14. Now you can taste your purple yam curry.
