Soursop Curry

  Soursop Curry Ingredients  Soursop Lime juice Onions Green chillies Pandan Curry leaves Garlic Ginger Mustard seeds Fenugreek Cinnamon Chilli powder  Turmeric powder  Curry powder Black pepper Coconut milk Maldives fish Salt Steps First wash & clean the soursop fruit. Remove the soursop seeds. Then cut it to pieces. Put water in to a pot & add lime juice ,soursop pieces in to it and leave them for some time. Then cut the onions, garlic, ginger and green chillies. Remove the lime water and wash the soursop pieces with pure water. Put a pot on the stove add coconut oil and mustard seeds, fenugreek, curry & pandan leaves, cinnamon, onions, garlic, ginger, curry leaves and pandan in to it and mix it. Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, curry powder and soursop pieces in to it. Next add coconut milk, green chillies, maldives fish, black pepper& salt  in to it. Then cook it. After it cooked you can taste your soursop curry.

Neeramulliya Curry

 Neeramulliya Curry Ingredients  Neeramulliya leaves  Lentils  Onions Green chillies Turmeric powder Curry powder Curry leaves  Coconut milk Salt Steps First clean & wash the dhal. Then cut the onions & green chillies. Lentils, onions, curry leaves, salt ,turmeric & curry powder in to a pot. Then add coconut milk also. Put it on the stove. Then wash  the neeramulliya leaves and cut it in to pieces. When the lentils are cooked add the neeramulliya leaves in to it and stir. Cook the neeramulliya curry and taste it.

Malabr Nut Curry

  Malabar Nut Curry ( Pawatta leaves Curry ) Ingredients  Malabar Nuts (Pawatta leaves) Onions Green chillies  Garlic  Ginger  Turmeric powder Black pepper Cinnamon  Snoring Fenugreek Maldives fish Pandan leaves Tamarind leaves Curry leaves Salt Steps First clean & wash  the pawatta leaves . Then add water & some salt in to pot and put pawatta leaves to it. Leave it for 10 minutes. Then wash again pawatta leaves with water and wash the tamarind leaves also. Next get a pot first add tamarind leaves on the top of it add pawatta leaves & snorin, again tamarind leaves on the top it pawatta leaves & snoring. Do it in order untill the pot is full. Add some salt in to it and water put it in the stove until leaves boiled.  When the leaves colour get brown get out the pot from the stove. Cut onions, green chillies, garlic, ginger, pandan & curry leaves in to small pieces. Cut the boiled pawatta leaves also. Add to pot pawatta leaves ...

Banana blossom curry

  Banana blossom curry Ingredients  Banana blossom Salt Water Big onions Green chillies Turmeric powder Coconut oil Curry leaves Tomatoes  Steps First cut the banana blossom into small pieces. Put water in to a pot and add salt add blossom pieces in to it and leavs it for some time. Cut the onions & green chillies. After some time remove the water and keep only banana blossom pieces. Add turmeric powder and chilli pieces and mix them well. Put some coconut oil in to a pan and temperd the onions and curry leaves. Then add the babana blossom in to it and stir. Cook the banana blossom curry and taste it.

Spiny gourd curry

 Spiny gourd curry Ingredients   Spiny gourds Onions Garlic Coconut oil Ginger Cinnamon  Dried chillies Green chillies Pandan  Curry leaves Tomatoes Curry powder Chilli powder Black pepper Seasame seeds Mustard seeds Cumin seeds Coconut milk Tamarind Salt Steps First wash the spiny gourds and cut in 4 pieces. Cut the tomatoes ,onions ,green chillies ,pandan , curry leaves ,garlic, ginger and green chillies. Fry the seasame seeds. Put coconut oil in to the pot and fry mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add onions , garlic ,ginger ,mustard seeds ,cinnamon ,dry & green chillies, pandan ,curry leaves and lastly add tomatoes. Turmeric powder, chilli powder, black pepper, curry powder and salt add to it and temperd. After well temperd it add some coconut milk in to it. Then add spiny gourds in to it and stir. Lastly add tamarind and coconut milk and cook it.  Now you can taste your spiny gourd curry.

Prawns Curry

 Prawns curry Ingredients Prawns Oil Lime Garlic Onions Tomatoes Dried chillies Turmeric powder Curry powder Chilli powder Green chillies Black pepper Pandan Curry leaves Cinnamon Cardamon Salt Steps Clean and wash the prawns. Then put prawns in to a pot and add lime juice, turmeric powder and black pepper in to it. Leave it 30 minutes. Cut the garlic, onions, tomatoes and dried chillies. Put oil in to a pot and while hot it add pandan, curry leaves, cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, ginger , garlic and temepred them. Add salt, dried chillies, curry powder, chilli powder and tomatoes in to it. Add green chillies and salt also. In the last add the prawns and cook it.

Sinhala Achcharu ( Sri Lankan Pickle )

 Sinhala Achcharu (Sri Lankan Pickle ) Make only in clay pots. Ingredients Red onions Green chillies Vinegar Papaya Black pepper Mustard seeds Oil Salt Steps Clean the red onions , papya and green chillies. Next boiled the red onions on the stove in 2 minutes. Then do it same to the green chillies. Add some vinegar to the mustard seeds and grind it. Escape to two chillies. Cut papaya in to thin pieces. Add papaya pieces , red onions , green chillies, salt and grind mustard and vinger in to the pot. Then mix it well. Add some black peper to it. Again mix well and store in a bottle.
